A young lawyer just got license. Even though the telephone in
his
office has not been connected, he opens his office for business.
In the morning a visitor comes. Upon seeing him the
lawyer quickly picks up the phone and speaks loudly: "Yes, my
office is very busy. I cannot talk for long. This case will cost
you
at least $1000 ..." After a while he puts down the phone and turns
to the visitor.
"Now is your turn. What can I do for you?"
The visitor cannot stop himself from laughing: "I was
sent by the phone company to connect your phone!"
