All Wrong

On a train a passenger loses his lighter and insists that it was taken
by a fellow passenger. After a while he finds his lighter inside his bag. Sheepishly, he apologizes to his fellow passenger, who answers wryly:
"That's alright. You mistook me for a thief and I mistook
you for a gentleman. It seems we were both wrong."
